It's dehumanizing and degrading to not be able to see my doctor for the exact same care he could offer a Cisgender man because a political agenda influences the standard of care he can provide. Conservative politics does not belong in physician's offices.
A snippet of being Trans in TX - my family Dr. can't prescribe my HRT, because the Texas Health Network won't let their physicians provide gender affirming care. I had to drive 1 1/2 hours away from home, one way, to see a Dr. that could prescribe my life saving medicine.
