USS Shenzhou brig set as it appeared in "Battle at the Binary Stars". Like many of the Shenzhou / Discovery interiors, the brig was designed under supervision of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY's first production designer, Mark Worthington, to be reconfigured to serve as multiple locations on multiple starships. Following the set's use in "Battle at the Binary Stars", the set was reworked to serve as Captain Lorca's "menagerie" beginning in "Context is for Kings". It would later go back to being a brig (albeit with a different configuration from the Shenzhou brig) aboard the Discovery and even stood in for Spock's quarters aboard the USS Enterprise in DISCOVERY's second season.
