It’s to watch Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined with the family!

It occurred to me that Sam’s glitching is not too difficult than The Doctor’s in “Latent Image.” A feedback loop caused by the traumatic result of his choice to save a friend.

It might be the series first (or second) masterpiece.

I’m going to rewatch “The Life of the Stars.”

#StarfleetAcademy “The Life of the Stars” does so much for the season as a whole and expertly weaves both A and B stories thematically together. This show has somehow achieved (in 8 episodes) a formula that consistently enriches the universe and allows room for characters to grow and breath.

Having a Ressikan flute on anything like this is a massive tribute to a dead race that no one has ever met in life. Picard must’ve truly written and spoken in detail about that civilization for evidence of the culture to exist very centuries later.

B’Avi was an interesting character that we hardly got to know, which is why his death is so affecting and represents writing that takes risks. There’s a sadness that we’ll never know the officer he’d become.

All the individual pieces work but that don’t cohere together well for some reason, for me. That storyline is interesting and is made even more relevant in S3 when Picard discovers he has a son.
