Wow, 2025 wasn't my best year for art. I barely did any personal stuff, comics, etc. - mostly just commissions and art fight.
I DID get a lot of writing done though so I guess it balances out! Hoping to get back into doing regular art again in 2026 though!

I have the best beta readers. They're patient with new chapters, they listen to my incoherent screaming while I work on things I can't yet share, make memes and shitposts, and are somehow still so extremely supportive even when I'm threatening to kill their favorites. =)
The worst thing about being extra motivated to work on a thing is when you have a lot of work and you don't have as much time to work on what you want. =(

It's also why I don't post much about my other story that I've been working on for AGES (and have made huge progress on lately). I worry that it'll end up the same way- with constant stupid and/or impatient comments sapping the fun out of it for me.
I can't post any other art without people being obnoxious about a comic that I'm honestly starting to resent as a result. It makes me want to cancel the comic- or at the very least make it friends and patreon only (they're the only ones with ANY right to bother me about it).
After an influx of "WHERE IS PRS" posts recently I decided to post an update + ask people to stop. Some of the comments I've gotten on that is EXACTLY why I haven't said much in recent months. Some people are entitled and rude about it and it makes me resent the comic.
Comic authors who post their work for free for everyone to read online don't owe readers anything. Making comics takes a very long time and sometimes artists need breaks. Don't harass them for updates or art. We aren't here to make exclusively what you want and have our own lives.
