I'm still early on but so far the game seems to have enough depth to make this approach feel like a good one. on my second save file I got a big setpiece battle that I totally avoided in my first by going stealthy
I'm playing through Baldur's Gate 3 alternating between two characters... probably going to take me a year to finish the game but it's cool to be able to try out different paths
