Yesterday, we said goodbye to our little rescue Bucky, the long-haired teddy bear hamster. We nicknamed him "Capt Bucky Rogers" as a way to welcome him into our family as well as to add some dignity to an obvious pet name.

Last ipad doodle before bed (edited with clear text), not what he expected when he left his planet in search of personal meaning!!! One last sketch cause its making me kick my feet.

Seconding everyone’s comments. What is an artist if they don’t have a muse or several to love? Keep it up ✨

Theorizing can be fun. I also see people theorize themselves into a corner, imagining a completely different show w completely different characters from what's intended. Largely, I ignore this and make what I'm gonna make but, I hope people go into KOG with open minds bc (1/4)

You don't have to have been explicitly harmed by an individual person to be considerably harmed by patriarchy. Whether people are not romanticizing something or they "are" and you can't tell if it's anxiety-soothing or fetishizing or what, it's nobody's business. Don't like, don't look??

Such as noncon art that IS intended to gratify, provide escape, allow someone to engage with horrible real things that do exist and take control of it in fantasy. And not with all this "show me ur trauma receipts" BS. We live in a society where we are not safe, that is reason enough to draw it.

And beyond legit respectful handling of dark / taboo subjects that are NOT romanticized, there is still maybe possibly i dunno a VERY important place for creatives to take those same dark subjects and create art that helps soothe anxieties about it.

Regardless of a platform, oppression is everywhere and masks itself as propriety. Fate forbid that an artist who draws fictional incest gets the same ire as a literal Nazi who draws flashy porn.
