cooking up some absolute deviancy using the AM Commander's new Las-focused talents to put about 18 rounds downrange with a combination of Soldier buffs and Cassia giving me extra turns

on my end he keeps running away (ostensibly in terror of how many unexploded Bolter shells are hanging out of Abelard's chest) and either doing null damage to Abelard or missing everyham else lmao

FUNNY i'm doing that right now and he's kinda just shrugging at the hail of Heavy Bolter bullets. i genuinely think that word bearer bitch would have an easier time just throwing the gun at him

they added a shield to one of the two early-game vendors and it's great. you could always park him in the middle of a killzone and watch him soak up damage but now he just negates that damage half the time.

the Psyber-Raven is amazing for Idira's entire build since it lets her bypass the problem of being limited to mostly single-target buffs and Shields really, REALLY amp up Abelard's already demonic survivability

(this, in turn, makes Ulfar even more useless)

honestly the new tools in Lex Imperialis feel less like they're handmade for Solomorne and more like they're thinly-veiled additions to make Idira and Abelard keep up with everyone else (and quite well at that)
