The Mouthpiece, Quality Comics masked detective character, discovers a human trafficking ring which hides women inside of sharks.

An absolutely unhinged sequence, god bless Golden Age comics.

King Comics #132 (1947). Popeye is sitting in a sofa chair with a tube in his mouth that connects to a large tank labeled “Home Model Spinach Mixer.” His stomach has grown fat and is sticking out from under his shirt.

Cover by Joe Musial.
