We don't know if we can save humanity, & we *can* do our best to make sure as many people as possible have lives worth living for as long as they're able.
Also, "the Earth" will go on with or without us.

Someone should tell RFK Jr that Emily Dickinson is suspected to have been autistic & one of the most prolific poets of all time.
His mischaracterization of autistic people shows him to be hateful, ignorant & uninformed.
More than that, we ALL have value. Evaluating โworthโ shouldnโt be a spectrum
On the other hand, more people are waking up to systemic harms & the meta crisis.

Granted, there are some very scary bills I'm watching, & you can definitely ask others what you can do for them, & for ME? Now? Resist the holocaust that's already here. Stop them grabbing people off the streets. Physically get in their way. And get people out.
Do that, so I never have to be next.
Since the election, people have asked what they can do for me. And I'm moved, & I also think, "For me? I'm fine. I can leave anytime. By the time you need to anything for *me*, it will be too late."

I hold my fear, anger, & profound weariness at the same time I know Americans are in concentration camps with only one cup & spoon to dozens of mouths & stomachs. And I'm not one of them, nor is anyone I know. Yet.

I dreamt I was being hunted through a JCPenney's by packs of middle-aged YT women who were afraid I would use their bathroom.
I texted my bestie (also trans), & she said, "Maybe prophetic dreams are real rofl ๐คฃ"
It's okay to laugh at this even if you aren't trans.
It's okay to cry.
It's a weird #TransDayofVisibility for me because I feel all too visible all too much of the time. If a stranger walked up & asked, "Hey, are u trans?" my urge would be to palm my pepper spray & search for a convenient shrubbery to duck behind. Like, can we get a #TransDayofINvisibility up in here?

We canโt all be the exception. Life can change in an instant, and most will experience tragedy at some point in their lives.
We should all fight for better social supports & safety nets

Disability can & does happen to anyone. It doesnโt matter how hard you try or how much you โwantโ to be well.
We all deserve compassion & worth should never be based on economic contribution.

This is such a great point. Community is so important, and bartering is a wonderful way to get to know your neighbors, rely more on each other than corporations. When community is lost, so is civility and humanity. The ROI when building relationships is worth more than goldโฆ
