"My kind" is dying as teacher shortages continue in this province only to be exacerbated by recent government law and misinformation spread about teachers (ideology, woke agendas, our libraries...)
The next distraction from this gov't is coming, but please don't forget about public education...
In my 10 years of teaching I have slowly watched class sizes climb and class complexities create more demand. Teaching has gotten harder each year. What does the next 10 look like? I am passionate and love what I do despite being attacked and told to do more with less.

"It has been said that democracy dies in the dark. It is essential that there be open debate on matters of the public interest. The importance of a judicial declaration on a Charter violation is heightened when a legislature fails to provide any demonstrable justification for that violation."

Folks, using the notwithstanding clause to override constitutional rights is not something we should EVER take lightly.
Please sign this petition to express your concern with this government and let them know your rights are yours for a reason.

Watching the AFL press conference brought a bit of hope on an otherwise defeated return.
Teachers still feel compelled to keep fighting, even though this government has suspended our constitutional right to strike.
Democracy is designed to be a painfully slow process to prevent abuses of power.

I remain hopeful for a resolution, but history shows that negotiating with Putin is rarely straightforward, as it often involves strategic games and hidden maneuvers."

Trump prioritizes loyalty, expedience, and personal vindication-- casting doubt on judicial impartiality when it conflicts with his interests.
Needless to say, his idea of justice is certainly not blind, and the scales tip towards whatever is in his favour.

🔹️When the standard becomes the standard this becomes the mentality.
🔹️This attitude does not stay isolated in one province either— the precedent becomes set across the entire country.

That is truly the definition of authentic and meaningful writing.

"Donahue said he's unsure proper regulations can be created to reverse the impacts of coal mining, because there is little historical evidence companies have been able to do so after they've ended operations, no matter how much money they spend."

Thank you 😊
▫️Americans should expect to pay more for clothing, food, vehicles, and electronics as companies pass tariff costs to shoppers.
▫️Even if inflation remains stable in the short term, tariffs function as an added household tax that reduces purchasing power and increases financial strain.

With the increase of immigration our response should also be calculated through anti-racism education and mentorship with younger men and teens. Perceptions of masculinity in today's age are both layered, difficult to define, and sadly many young men are turning to YouTube to find their definition.
