As a queer person who has enjoyed this play a little too much, this is so wonderful.
The need for reform to political donations in Aotearoa is screaming in our faces. Even if these are not quid pro quo donations, this is corrosive to trust in our elected officials.
Repealing the fast-track doesn't magically solve this either, we need some serious work on this. #nzpol

From what I've seen as a layperson, I think so too. But having peer-reviewed, published legal scholarship saying so would be incredibly useful.
This might be a good undertaking for a legal scholar in Aotearoa: would the UK's clinical practices be illegal in NZ under the Conversion Practices Prohibition Legislation Act 2022?
This would help put to rest suggestions we adopt the UK's frameworks here. Anyone up for the challenge?
