There are some places I used to deliver mail to that had a WALL of pot smoke/smell around them.

I should have gone there. πŸ€”

No one is giving away their drugs for free in Halloween candy.

I WISH I could get a Pot Brownie, or LSD laced Necco Wafers, or Magic Mushroom infused Chocolate.

All I got is my half-price Candy Corn, and I'm tripping balls from the sugar rush!

In ac world of illusion, the Villain of the issue (no spoilers) brings Doctor Strange to the offices of "Les Tane" and "Red Tevoski" who write and draw the Dr. Strange comic.

Worn out one (green) still in use EXCLUSIVELY for car key, hooked to either belt loop or on backpack.

Good one (black) holds ALL other keys and "mini-cards". Is kept INSIDE central console or inside backpack pocket.

Is not just one artist.
You can tell the Human Torch is Romita Sr.
And Spider-man on the back looks like it was drawn by Tom Lyle.

These types of things usually just took clips of artwork from various places and composite them together.

Here's the full wraparound image.

I used to own ONE single share of Marvel stock JUST so I would get these comic-style Annual Reports.

It was in the early 1990s (before their bankruptcy ended all that).

I've long since sold off all the issues except for any that had DOCTOR STRANGE in them.

Cats don't play with the stupid Daylight Savings clock bullshit.

So, instead of waking me up at 2:30am for breakfast, Babe's perfect internal-clock got me up at "1:30am".
And he proceeded to wake everyone else up, so... Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―.

It's going to be impossible to train him for the new time.

I'll keep my "astral / sprit" avatar up until the weekend.
Yesterday may have been #Halloweenβ€―β€―β€―, but now we have All Saints Day & then All Souls Day.
Seems fitting...
(I've set this transition gif at a slow pace to hopefully avoid setting off epileptic seizures in anyone.)

A Novel of the Marvel Universe-
DOCTOR STRANGE: DIMENSION WAR
Adapted from the Classic stories of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko
By James Lovegrove

Save yourself the $27 cover price (although by now, over a year since publication I can't imagine it isn't remaindered and in the discount bin).

Better you should read the early STRANGE TALES stories that it is "fleshing out".

Characters and events are SO BADLY written. Out of character. Tainted by MCU attempts at humor. Events and connections of much later comics being taken into account when they shouldn't.
Just so, so, SO painful to read.

"Meet a different kind of Super Hero: DOCTOR STRANGE, Master of the Mystic Arts

When dealing with the occult and bizarre, Doctor Strange is the hero you need."

Ugh... who ya gonna call?
GHOSTBUSTERS!
The writing here would probably be better for a Ghostbusters adaptation, rather than Doctor Strange.

I started reading (or at least attempted) this DOCTOR STRANGE "novel" 'DIMENSION WAR', well over a YEAR AGO, but abandoned it because it's SO POORLY WRITTEN! πŸ™„

I'll explain in alt text.

It's sat at the bottom of my backpack all this time, untouched.

I'm trying it once again, but it's SO BAD! πŸ˜–

The end stage for this year's project.
All the boxes and bars were wrapped, except the final 5, which I had placed the Golden Tickets.

Then, one winning bar would be hidden inside each box.

Just as I had done many times over the last 10 years, I was asked to re-create all the wrappers, boxes, and Golden Tickets from the Original #WillyWonka & the Chocolate Factory for a "charitable" Halloween event.

180 chocolate bars with Wonka wrappers & 5 Golden Tickets, redeemable for prizes!

I designed this a few decades ago.
You'll notice my version of the Eye of Agamotto will form a sideways yin/yang when closed.

You'll also notice that I made sure to have 16 circular "beads" along the edge. This is because the Eye of Agamotto is a comic adaptation of the Eye of Buddha, which has 16 representative "martyr snails" around the edge of the central Eye.

My version of the tunic "demon/spirit" symbol is a melding of the earliest depictions by Steve Ditko, and those of Marshall Rogers, Dan Green, and Michael Golden; all of whom include straighter "arms", and the appearance of EYES on the form.

The Eye was created using Adobe Photoshop, and the Demon made in Adobe Illustrator.

I used to get these (and some other shirts of my design) printed but haven't done so in a long time.

More Starlin is always good.
I could easily find more stuff of his to have him sign, but these 4 came to mind first:

DEATH OF CAPTAIN MARVEL OGN

THE PRICE

DARKLON THE MYSTIC

SHADOWS AND LIGHT 2 (although I'd probably tear out all the pages but his DOCTOR STRANGE story and have him sign that.
