Pics that go hard
I don’t want to put any actual legal names of minors out there, but I’ve seen literal household items, only sometimes spelled differently, names very similar to, but just legally distinct enough to look like store brand versions of celebrities names, and many sets of initials with double meanings.
New parents should be required to submit their potential baby names to a panel of terminally online people to weed out any potential issues going forward. Children will always come up with SOMETHING silly to make fun of, but some people out there aren’t even trying to avoid the low-hanging fruit.
:O ☝️
#littlecaroftheday 724 is a Honda Civic. While we’ve had one before, the Matchbox version is much more stock than its Hot Wheels siblings. I never realized these didn’t have a real hatch back (as seen by this one’s exterior hinges) until someone here pointed out there were 3 versions over the years
They were always there, but picking this little green hunk of metal off the pegs at KMart was the catalyst for me really learning and understanding about the machines behind the toys, and their history, their place in culture, and the culture they have unto themselves.
good morning and happy Kyusha Wednesday: some Wats and ZG overfender on one of Mitsubishi’s greats? let’s go

California Dreamin’ for #littlecaroftheday 591 with this GT/CS Mustang. This Matchbox rendition is a little worse for wear. I believe it was acquired in a lot of second-hand cars I picked up a a yard sale that I got for a steal because I offered a price for the whole box instead of individuals.
This VW Golf is one of the 1991 cars. #HotWheels #year1991
It’s municipal time on today’s #littlecaroftheday with 356, this Chevrolet Tahoe. This one is decked out in bright yellow with some generic “RSQ” gear, off to save some citizens from, something, I guess, it doesn’t really say. The yellow feels sort of between fire-fighting and ambulance to me.
Cool, guess I’ll just take it to the scrapyard to get it cubed
Hi, I’m trying to order some parts from overseas and they’re not shipping directly, you guys are one of the recommended dealers in the US, but don’t have the part online, could I special order it with you?
Um, no because tariffs and also we wouldn’t stock it anyway because the car’s 40 years old
I would think “losing” a couple inches of clearance they’ll just get back with new suspension and tires anyway is worth it to keep things shiny side up. Especially since small overlaps are not limited to the road and could happen with something like, oh idk, a tree, or a boulder.
#littlecaroftheday 266 has an street/strip vibe with the factory look color, parts stickers down the side, and beefy rear tires. This ‘67 Chevelle cast is one of a few in the collection but one of my faves as it captures a more realistic scheme, like something you might see at a local car show.
Reject AI. There’s so much weird stuff out there for you to take real pictures of.
AMC sickos rejoice for today’s #littlecaroftheday number 54 is a “Packin Pacer”. This one is hopped up a bit with a mid-mounted V8 which, unfortunately for the purists put there, looks to be a swap as indicated by the “427” markings on the hood.

No one's gonna love you The way I do.
Much smaller than yesterday’s selection, #littlecaroftheday 899 is a Lotus Europa. This Matchbox version features colors and decor emulating the iconic JPS stripes. These are such fun looking little cars that I am also probably too big for irl.
I like this
Watched the original Gone In 60 Seconds tonight for the first time (travesty I know) and I am 100% convinced driving a 70s car at 10/10ths has got to make you feel more powerful than a god. This movie is unironically a cinematic masterpiece.
This Turbo Streak is one of the FAO Schwarz History of Hot Wheels III cars. #HotWheels #year1997

I always free them unless they’re duplicates/really special ones. A big part of why I like collecting them is because of the tactile sensation. Aside from my favorite irl cars, the ones I have the most copies of are the ones that enjoy feeling/holding/arranging on the shelf.
Petrolicious film: Travis Washay bought a neglected 1983 Volkswagen GTI in college to flip. Instead, he kept it, learned to race at Lime Rock, and won SCCA regional and National Tour championships. He still owns the car 34 years later. www.youtube.com/watch?v=q41Q...
Yo 🧡
#littlecaroftheday 373 is actually a little truck, and compared to the scale of most other casts, actually not so little. This GMT900 Silverado has a few variations, including some with a sport bike in the bed. This example is a bit more reserved, as much as laying absolute frame can be reserved.
Caramelize some onions and marinate a bit of meat with some spices before putting it in a pan. You can go wrong with marinaded meat and caramelized onions.
OH MY GOD THIS IS REAL
