Not sure of the legality of this, but I think I heard someone float the idea of using turnpike toll revenue for the state highway system. Maybe that's illegal or they'd have to pass another law to do it

What are your thoughts on the argument that raising gas taxes (or any sales tax) is regressive and thus hurts lower-income folks more. Not a "gotcha" question or for any story, I'm just curious what you think of that line of argument.

I asked President Trump about the FBI reportedly seizing election records in Arizona. He said they must have done that because it was a “rigged” election. I pointed out to him that his own AG said there was not measurable voter fraud to overturn that election. Then he called me a rotten reporter.

ESPN bringing on six former Washington Post reporters Former Washington Post reporters Kent Babb, Kareem Copeland, Chuck Culpepper, Robert Klemko, Tom Schad and Ben Strauss will all join ESPN in the coming weeks.

The Washington Post top editors realized within three weeks that killing the Sports section was a "mistake," I'm told by someone who spoke with one. They are looking to hire, or hire back, six writers. Instead, this happened. www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Articles/202...

‘One officer told me that I "had no chance of returning to Minnesota" and that "the best thing for (me] is self-deportation." …
She offered me $2600 to self-deport.
I refused.
I wanted to talk to my attorney.
They didn't tell me the judge had already ordered my release and return to Minnesota.’
