I often get asked why I am so outspoken about protecting Jewish Folks in America and it'a always the same response (because it's true). Jewish and Black Folks have been allies for decades. The alliance hasn't always been easy but we're still here 60+ years later.

Clinton’s Presidency was when the evangelicals came out of the woodwork, and started homeschooling their kids. Parents who were barely high school graduates started “teaching” their kids at home while they went to work. Right wing radio was where they were getting a lot of their distrust of schools

So much of this can be tied to decades of anti-intellectualism from Republicans.

Bc when a society goes towards conspiracy & believing whatever just bc it tells them what they wanna hear the actions will always be less measured
