Had an absolute blast hosting Cedar Rapid's 7th Annual Furry Minigolf Event this last weekend!

Such an absolute blast seeing all the suiters, goofing around, and getting 10 over par.

Here you have the full mingolf group (less like 15 or so people out of shot), me being goofy, and some minigolfing!

Day 3 at @furrytakeover.bsky.social was slower, but still fun:

What a time at @furrytakeover.bsky.social this last weekend - of the cons I've been at so far, this is definitely my absolute favorite. Some pics from Day 1 are:

Finished hundo'ing Raft tonight with @pelicanvp.bsky.social and Mayo Neighs, and man did this take a long time. Most of the achievements are fun but some are just poorly designed (like finding boat island, angler fish kills and days survived).

Fun times, but happy to move on to the next game!

Final day of @anthrocon.org with @pelicanvp.bsky.social and @codenamefreedom.bsky.social

I got to meet ConCat and got some great ideas while going through the Dealer's Den - and you all can see my haul from there too!

Absolutely loved it and had a blast, loved everyone I met along the way! <3

Day 3 of Anthrocon was such a blast - First day that @pelicanvp.bsky.social got to use his loaned partial (the gryphon), I got to hold an insanely large "statue", met the world's friendliest possum and got a picture against the cityscape

Oh - and got to learn about fursuit padding from Corgilope!!

Day 2 of Anthrocon was so busy between going to a Christian panel, starting the Dealer's Den walks, and a couple meet and greets for trash critters and hoovers it was a fast day!

Even met some wonderful likeminded folks for a dinner and drinks across the river!

I met a racoon from my maker even!

Here's how to pay people back, and do right by them

1) Go to bank
2) Get the loan you said you would
3) Pay back all the people you scammed

If you really and truly weren't trying to scam people or just run off with their money, it wouldn't be nearly 2 MONTHS after -deciding- to not work anymore.

I noticed how IMMEDIATELY when I filed a dispute on 4/19, like the next few days they moved me to "refund" (with zero intention to actually refund me, it's fine, dirtbags exist) and then just removed me from her Trello as if that would make me go away.

My sincerest hopes that all of those other people she scammed, which based on her pricing is approximately $30k (I could very easily be off +/-5K) get their money back. Because of her lack of work ethic, and communication, I think I was the only one that could do a PayPal dispute.

This is due to the super high stress they are under - This woman wasn't working for income in the coming months, they were basically working for free because they already spent all the money they demanded up front. Just goes to highlight the gross lack of financial responsibility of some furries.

For any younger (or older and less-the-wiser folks) this is a HUGE red flag - if you pay someone 2 - 3 months of living expenses (I paid ~$6.5k) and after several months their overall queue doesn't move, there's a very strong likelihood that the person will fail because that business model will fail

Being an analyst, I review financial statements, do forecasts, build out and analyze cash flows / P&Ls, and I knew right when January got here that with zero updates to -anyone's- commissions that the money I paid in November was already spend with no cashflows to support their lifestyle.
