I was just realising the unintended consequences of my massive illegal tape collection!

Well, my original copy of Aqualung was a TDK D90 special, taped from my Uncle's BASF copy. But now I have 4 'proper' physical copies, so maybe, "Home taping is a gateway to future multi format vulnerability."?

How have I got 3 copies of Weasels Ripped my Flesh? And what's more...how do you know? 😀

Literally yesterday I found 2 copies of the 'It's a beautiful day' album. I like the aesthetic of the US pressing, but the sleeve is worn, 'necessitating' a second copy.

I am momentarily amused by the concept of filming myself skipping an entire album on vinyl. Dropping and removing the needle at the start of side A, flipping the record and dropping the needle on the run out groove. What album is so bad it deserves this treatment? Running in the Family by Level 42?

I'm not really the kind of person that skips tracks because I always think that 'this time might be the time I get it'. However, I am plagued by ideas for niche YouTube channels...

Please record them and release them on vinyl. I will buy many copies. I cannot get to the shows as I am employed in a school in the UK. They frown upon spontaneous, unauthorised absences, even when Silkworm is involved.

It is musically illegal not to like Allo Darlin', so watch out if you think you don't like them. In a world where it is possible for people to like Oasis and Toad the Wet Sprocket, laws must be passed where good music is involved.
