Here's the clean video version of this Yoshi flipnote that was animated on a 3DS using Flipnote Studio 3D

I couldn't decide if people liked the clean versions more than the ones that were filmed and included the 3DS and the yarn yoshi amiibo.
But here they are sleeping soundly with no worries at all 😴

I've felt a bit uninspired for a couple days now but I'm trying to work through it by touching up some wipes!
My method used to be:
base color - multiply - add/screen etc
But lately I'm picking out colors more and rendering and actually enjoying the whole process of it!

It must be the same deal with most artists. We see the flaws of our own work sometimes so much we are blind to what makes it special

I think crunching the art to the 4-color dithering also helped me realize the strong points of my art in a way.
I should probably look into simplifying my art a bit instead of over complicating it

There's a pretty interesting tool that helps you convert images into this GameBoy style that is compatible with GB Studio!
Had a blast just seeing how my art would look like in it! Using it and tweaking the results is very straight forward too!
