If criminals don't have rights, then all the government has to do is find some excuse to label people as criminals, and those people will no longer have rights. It's what literally every tyrannical government in all of history has done. If you believe that people who break the law should forfeit their rights, you're literally as pro-tyranny as a person can get.

Q: I’m afraid of people& I’m kind of jealous that you can love people so openly/easily A: Oh, I'm so happy to hear that I make it look easy! It very much is not easy at all! lmao I have chronic PTSD since early childhood & instead of assuming that I was subjected to horrible things because I'm bad; my young brain decided that the world is bad & I must control everything & everyone around me by just being & doing whatever was needed. As an adult I'm learning how to just be me & to be okay with people thinking that's not enough & demanding more. They can demand things but I don't have to provide them just because they demand them. I'm learning to let people support me & allowing myself to rely on people but it's very hard, scary, & painful. But there's no going back. I've seen the flaw in my previous way of relating & when I engage in that behaviour now it feels unbearable. I hope you find your path to peace & openly loving others - even if it never comes as easily as we both might like 💜
