Last Tuesday, we had a session 0 to make our characters for a mini campaign of Stonetop. I never heard of this TTRPG, but we had such fun creating our characters and getting to know our village. I play Eilwen, a Seeker with a dark ambition.
Can’t wait to see what adventures we’ll encounter!
I have not been able to watch your campaign unfortunately, because of spoilers. We are going very slow: we just finished arc 1 after 49 sessions 😇
Last night, in our Delta Green/Impossible Landscapes campaign, there was a funeral service for my character, Agent Baker.
OOC time, she died more than 6 months ago. But still, it was very moving to hear everyone’s words about her, even brought tears to my eyes. That’s the emotional power of TTRPGs.
How does one learn to be an editor?
Part of my current job is to edit formal/policy/non fiction texts, but I would love to get into editing fiction/TTRPG texts. Are there any courses/training (preferably online) which focus on the full scope of editing of written fiction books?
I had these big plans to read a lot during my recovery from ACL surgery. It’s been a week, and I’ve read one book. Just one.
What did I do?
- Be amazed by the healing capacity of my body
- Feel loved by the well-wishes and help offered
- Feel really unproductive and bored, and be fine with that
“D’r is már ieën ding dat mòt, dat is ojjem bliēve hale. De rest kumt allemól wel goēd.”
(“There is only one thing you must do, and that’s to keep breathing. The rest will all work out.”)
Lyrics of a carnaval/vastenaovendj song and words to live by as I’m preparing for ACL surgery tomorrow 😬
We are seeking more PoC applicants for TTRPGirls!

This week is a little bit TTRPG empty. Only a Delta Green/Impossible Landscape session this Friday.
It gives me time though to select books (fiction or TTRPG) to read next week when I’m recovering from surgery (torn ACL replacement).
Do you have any recommendations?
It is so much fun to use the city I’ve been living near and in for over 16 years now as a World of Darkness setting.
We’re working on potentially making it into a sourcebook on Storytellers Vault, so keep your eyes out for that.
Yesterday's session of our Vampire the Masquerade chronicle, Amsterdam by Night, was the first session in a long time that I felt comfortable in my GMing, thanks to my amazing players who picked up the threads I put down and had strong IC conversations among themselves.
So thankful for this group ❤️
Did I buy too many books already over the last couple of weeks to not get bored after a knee surgery on the 16th and the recovery time in the weeks after? Yes.
Did I buy 2 more books, just because? Maybe…
This year, I'll be joining Flash Fiction February (#FlashFicFeb) by @storytellingco.bsky.social for the fourth time.
28 days, 28 prompts, 28 short stories.
I started using this to flesh out backgrounds of NPCs in my Vampire the Masquerade chronicle. I'm going to continue that line this year.
We love to welcome new AP performers to our streams, and aim to raise the bar for accessibility and safety.
If you're unsure whether to apply for our TTRPGirls games, @lithiarch.bsky.social has some words of encouragement. Read this, then apply - unleash your inner performer!

Since I won't be able to write any more additions, I have finalized my submission to the 48-word RPG Jam. 3 nano-RPGs this year, with different mechanics and themes.

“You need a full blood bond, so you need to drink three times from me, when you want me to learn you this clan Discipline. It’s only just 3 months of your eternal unlife, then I’ll let you go.” 😎
I ran a 1-on-1 session yesterday for a Vampire the Masquerade chronicle I am a guest player in sometimes.
I played Elena again, which is always a delight. I got to explore her manipulative and seductive side, and I have to say: she is one scary Lasombra when she tries to get you under her control.
I am doing a solo playthrough of Death of the Author by @goblinmixtape.bsky.social.
The story starts to turn into a spicy novella about a young actress in NY whose affair with an older actor gets exposed. And now his son entered the picture?!
Not my normal vibe, but it’s fun to write though 😇
So cool to see this list of all these European creatives! Thank you, @euphoriaap.bsky.social, for putting a spotlight on these wonderful games and creatives :)
And if you look closely, you'll find a certain little horror game on there that I had such a fun time making.
Every year, I participate in the XX-word jam. I like to challenge myself to create several games/prompts that contain only a certain amount of words. This year, it's the 48-word jam.
Until now, I have created 3 nano games (and more coming).

Tonight, we’re going to play the first session of the second arch of our Vampire: the Masquerade Amsterdam by Night chronicle.
Last year, a couple of months in, I just didn’t feel it. So we decided on a hard reset and that’s where we’re going to start tonight: same characters, new story.
Let’s go!
💖$561 worth of games for $10!💖
Thankyou so much to @gothhoblin.me & everyone who's donated games for this! We're raising money for my son to sit his GCSEs (we have to pay for them) Please support/share to help him reach his dreams!🙏💚💖💙https://itch.io/b/3469/path-to-education-mutual-aid-ttrpg-bundle
TTRPGs this week:
- Monday: Mothership (oneshot)
- Tuesday: Vampire: the Requiem (last session my psychologist vampire killed someone for the first time 😅)
- Friday: Vampire: the Masquerade (restart of my Amsterdam chronicle)
- Saturday: Vampire: the Requiem (IRL session 😁)
I actually played a oneshot of this. It was a lot of fun. We didn’t manage to summon our Lord Soth, but we wreaked havoc in the meantime.
Unknown Armies is indeed one I have had on my radar for a while. I haven’t been able to read the pdfs I have, but I’ll put them on my to read list.
Oeh, that looks interesting! Thanks for this recommendation.
That’s one I heard of, but haven’t had the chance to play. It sounds fun though!
Of course!
I have Locus in my digital collection, I believe. I’ll check it out, but it looks like it’s really up my alley.
I don’t know The Lost Bay, but I’ll check that out.
I do have OGOA, but I’m not the biggest fan of the Cypher system. I’m probably going to use the setting with the ruleset of Call of Cthulhu or Vaesen.
I played Liminal Horror, but I might put it on my list to run it this year.
I have backed it, so I do get the updates. But I haven’t been able to read or play any of it yet.
A friend of mine is thinking about potentially running a campaign with it. I hope he does, so I can try it 😇
I mainly play/GM Vampire: the Masquerade, Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green and Vaesen. I do have several other horror TTRPGs in my bookcase (Kult for instance).
But I’m looking to expand my collection. Are there any (indie) TTRPGs in the urban horror genre that you recommend?
