Normally I get into my gardening about this time of year, but it hasn't stopped raining in 3 months, so I might open a water park instead

Clonreher castle near the town of Portlaoise is shrouded in mystery regarding its construction, dates and early history. Local Historians have several theories about its origins.
The castle is certainly of C.16th construction, and was made indefensible during the Cromwellian wars.
