Have you spotted this little one in the game? You'll find him throughout the game, and there's a reason.
While we were working on a video call, this little bug suddenly came in through @orcadice.bsky.social's window and landed on her screen as if it wanted to check the work.

Years later, you can look back on the thing with pride and accomplishment, hearing everyone's stories and seeing their enjoyment when they dig into what you helped make.

Today was filled with some of those first steps... for a lot of new things.

Making games is a lot of work. From creating a pitch, working it into an outline, designing the engine, endless testing, constant refinement, perfecting language, working on the user experience, coordinating with other teams, proofing, printing, releasing errata, and finally...

So this is the second thing I've seen today that talks at length about how the art of a game contributes heavily to its themes and artistry.

It's a perceptive link I had failed to make myself: when we talk about games as art, the *literal art* can be a huge part of that.

September is like a New Year for us; it's when we take stock. We have new projects to announce! And we are going to start this year with new clients and projects. We are very excited and we can't wait to tell you more.
