The hydra from Hercules with that insane gulp/belch combo was my first awakening wayyyyyy back, that 3D over 2D animation combo really accentuated the gulp. That goanna from Fern Gully was an influence as well (it's definitely the voice/demeanor combo there).

Size difference and a lil predatory jumpscare can do wonders for those neurons >:3

Oh my god I'm having so much fun doing lipsync/expression work for this next animation. Really thinking about how a character would emote while talking is a lot of fun, the lil mannerisms are a blast to mess around with.

Also, goal is to have at least part of this done by 8/8! Gonna be a big one 👀
