It's everywhere - from advertising, to film, to games - even the displays in Artist Alleys & fairs are almost interchangeable, because everyone seems to be trying to match the same formula. We're being starved of the different & unique in others being buried under the media-equivalent of hard-tack

I can't reply directly, but I completely agree. The general message being pushed everywhere that to "make it" as an artist is to be as "palitable" as possible. It's left us with a ton of bland, same-y media & no one with the means to fund work being willing to try new things or embrace uniqueness1/2

All of the FUCK OFF I'M READING bookmarks were stolen out of our booth Tuesday night, but Andrews McMeel got us a rush delivery of 1000 more — come by booth 2049 at San Diego Comic Con to get a totally free one, while they last.
