Aside from the cost, I don’t like the deceptive submission deadlines tactic to create a false sense of urgency. I think they’ve had a moving “final” deadline 5-10 times each year.

You’re right, the content differences are huge. It’s a tough one. I agree that talking to more folks in the field is best, including those who didn’t submit.

I’m not sure what structure makes the most sense but I might go with Video Production, Audio Production, and Live Performance.

This is less about YouTube (aside from signalling that my channel is mostly dormant when I'm not teaching or talking professionally) than about explaining where I'm going to experiment with putting some stuff up -- for free.

Actual play sessions that teach the audience about history or sociocultural themes. It could be anything, including how to play the game! Probably built-in discussion during breaks or post-play. I’ve wanted to run a show that pairs actual play episodes to interview eps about the real history.
