Can't help but notice that there's certain themes in my mind, keep gravitating towards certain kind of art and music. It just feels correct

Just finished a run in Nightreign where I was using Blackflame. Faith has to be my favorite stat in Elden Ring, I just love all the spells or ashes of war that it unlocks.

It's just so satisfying to charge up Blackflame or Giantsflame. I also think the Black Flame Tornado skill is cool.

I used to be in the mindset that my OC needs to have a static design with a theme, but now I'm just having fun changing things on a whim for an idea. There is a base design with a ref sheet that I'm working on, but other than that I'm just gonna have fun.

I love when a character fulfills their mission by just willpower alone, collapsing once it's done. Even better if it's something not human, like a robot that became sentient, a magical doll or a beast. Oh and if the mission is something entrusted to them by their loved ones, so good. #oc #art

I feel like I've kinda hit a wall with poses that require no background, it's like they lack a reason to be drawn. "Why this pose, what's even happening here? What's the bigger picture?"

I was sketching a lot last night, trying to get the character style right. I've been jumping from style to style (mostly eyes, nose, jaw etc. ) I've used this where the eyes are bigger with the irises being smaller a few times and I feel like it's the correct vibe.

I fought the Tibia Mariner in Nightreign multiple times today, so I guess that vibe was floating around in my mind. Summoning undead, the sea and all that.
