Fallibilism is important for many reasons.

An extra one is that fallibilistic thinking means you are better to strive for archetypal virtue than to assume you know it all.

If you want to be less wrong, then you can’t think you’re right all the time.

But that’s what’s fashionable: to be certain in the face of uncertainty that is both epistemological and ontological.

Bear in mind the word "happiness" changed meaning since "the pursuit of happiness" became a meme in 1776.

It used to mean vocational life fulfilment.
