This is why a war with Iran could inflame the region….

Turkish security forces arrested 6 members of an Iranian intelligence cell aiming to ship drones to Cyprus that could have targeted Incirlik Air Force Base. -Middle East Eye

It was an extrajudicial execution. Anyone who defends this is defending a police state.

The SDF does not have US backing like the KDP did back in the days. They should have known that.

I recommend looking into the march agreement. The SDF are morons not to accept that. Based on what I could look up (and I might be wrong here), its factions within the SDF overestimating their bargaining power and straight out rejecting these deals and insisting on running their own military.

The arabs under the SDF surely didnt think that way, they rose up at the first chance once hostilities broke out. I cant really blame shaara to centralize, he is after the unity of the country after all. What matters are equal right for everyone and democratic elections in the future.

SDF should have agreed for the deal which was offered to them once Assad fell. They have been blueballing Syrias reuinification for months, stalling, and missing all deadlines. The SDF ALWAYS threatened with the release of the isis prisonners. They have brought this upon themselves all on their own.

The SDF has a very tainted image in Syria. Sure, they got drafted to fight ISIS for the sake of their survival, on behalf of western interests, but, the SDF also undermined the Syrian revolution by colluding with Assad, sheltering Assadists and equating the current Syrian government to isis.

The Kadyrov succession battle begins as Putin lacks the resources to stop it Tensions around Chechnya are rapidly escalating amid rumors about Kadyrov’s terminal illness. A recent crash involving the Chechen leader’s youngest son, Adam, may be part of a succession struggle. That’s the view expressed on his blog by Russian opposition figure and sociologist Igor Eidman. Recently, Ukraine’s military intelligence reported that Kadyrov’s kidneys had failed and his condition had worsened. Just a couple of days later, Kadyrov’s heir was involved in a serious car accident and, according to rumors, is now in intensive care in Moscow in very grave condition. There is every reason to believe these events are connected. “Kadyrov is still alive, but the clan war for his inheritance has already begun. I said in a recent broadcast that Ramzan’s attempt to make Adam his successor would not sit well with many in the Chechen elite; his chances of taking power — and even simply surviving — in this situation are extremely doubtful. It all happened even faster than I thought. Most likely, the crash that nearly killed Adam was staged by those who want to prevent him from inheriting his father’s ‘throne,’ other contenders for power. War within the Kadyrov inner circle is becoming inevitable,” Eidman wrote. He added that the situation is becoming explosive for the Kremlin. Russia, bogged down in a bloody war against Ukraine, no longer has the security resources to stabilize Chechnya. “An uprising and a second front in Chechnya could spell disaster for Putin’s regime,” Eidman concluded.

The law based international world order is gone. Europe is under siege by authoritarian powers. A european army is long due.

Trump is throwing a hissy fit about it.

Most likely someone with an ounce of common sense told him that a takeover like this would not be possible.

Now he throws out sanctions in retaliation, not as a pressure campaign. Otherwise he would have done it ages ago.

Its simple:

Cats dont like drinking water that sits still for a long while due to films of bacteria that sit on top. Flowing bodies of water, or newly poured glasses of water are very much prefered by cats.

Get yourself a proper water fountain that is wide enough not to cause whisker fatigue, too.

With Trump as president, the alliance is dead. Its naive to think that Trump would come to the aid of another country simply because of an article.

As a european, I think this is the end of the international world order, the decline of the US as a world power, and the emergence of a militarized EU.
