Steve Chandler Photography now has an online store where photographic art prints of my work can be purchased. It's early days and I will be developing it over the next 2-3 months. Have a look and let me know what you think. #photography #wallart

LOWLIFES directed by Tesh Guttikonda & Mitch Oliver. Written by Al Kaplan. Nothing too heavy. Just good fun. :-)
Took a step away from social media for the festive period. Business as usual from tomorrow. Here's a recent #drone #photograph I took in #Northumberland.
Another shot from my visit to Alnmouth in Northumberland. #photography #coastal #Alnmouth #Northumberland #Nikon
Listened to THE NIGHT by Saint Etienne earlier this evening. Loved it. Such a relaxing album to listen to. I'll refrain from saying much else about it until I've spent a week or so with it. But this is sublime stuff. #music #SaintEtienne
I was actually heading heading back to our accommodation having been out since 7.30am when I happened to notice the way the sunlight was hitting the grass. I took a quick handheld shot, not really expecting much from it. It's probably one of my favourite shots of the weekend.
The house we rented was just round the corner from the beach and on the edge of the beach there was a belt of long grasses which was very photogenic. This particular shot was taken at 9.35am about an hour after sunrise while the sun was still quite low in the sky.
I will be posting some shots from my trip to Northumberland over the course of the evening. We were staying in the small and very charming village of Alnmouth.

The Technology and Innovation Centre, #Glasgow. Looking atmospheric in the freezing fog. #photography
I like it a lot but haven't spend anything like as much time with it as I have with any of her previous albums. I'll fix that soon. :-)
We watched it a couple of Christmases ago. Really enjoyed it. Hadn't seen it in a couple of decades. Right now I'm planning a revisit of KRAMPUS. Thoroughly enjoyed that several times but it's been a few years since we last watched it. :-)
Thanks. I have been a photographer for about 15 years before I bought a drone so I know my way around a decent composition which helps. What I need to do now is become a bit more bold with the flying of the drone. I still feel quite nervous when I send it up. :-)
Managed to get my drone up for 30 minutes while visiting St. Monans in East Neuk of Fife on Sunday morning. I'm still very new to drone photography but I like how these shots came out. #photography #dronephotography #drones #Scotland #EastNeukofFife #StMonans #windmill #coast
#NowPlaying C'MON KIDS by The Boo Radleys. Been a while. Still outstanding. Might wrap my ears around GIANT STEPS next. That's their masterwork. #music #indie #90s #BooRadleys
It's now official. I'm too old for this shit. Neverthless, a good time was had. But four nights out in a row? Never again. :-)
I also attended a fantastic Q&A with Jim and William Reid of The Jesus and Mary Chain at the GFT in Glasgow on Thursday night. There I discovered that William is really, really funny. Anyway...by the end of it I was fit for nowt but an epic sleep. I'm still feeling exhausted today.
I was busy for five days in a row starting last Saturday and ending on Sunday when I got back from East Neuk. Over the course of those five days I saw Fontaines D.C., The Jesus and Mary Chain and James Yorkston live while Storm Darragh raged outside the tiny venue.
@fontainesdcfans.bsky.social A question. I'm booking a taxi for after tonight's Hydro show. What time did they finish at Leeds last night?
A beautiful and deeply personal album with more moments of pure beauty than I can describe with words.
Album score: 10 out of 10
I was wrong.
#BestMusic 2024. LIVES OUTGROWN by Beth Gibbons. I'm a big fan of all three Portishead albums and of Beth's 2002 album with Rustin Man and various other collaborations over the years. I didn't think anything could even match her previous work.
We created something wonderful with the internet and now we're a distance down the road to destroying most of the positive things that it ever represented. It can still be a tool for good. But all the goodness is being slowly diluted by selfish idiots with or without an agenda.
