"The Exit 8" is getting the psychological horror movie treatment! I'm stoked! I reviewed this game a year and a half ago. It's short, but fun!

I was obsessed with #Goosebumps books when I was a kid! But my mother convinced me to pack up my collection and gift it to my younger cousin one year. 😢

A few days ago, I found a complete collection in excellent condition online! Now my collection is once again complete!

I'm back to reviewing games for 2026! Today's game is "StarRupture."

It's a first-person survival crafting/factory automation game, where you play a convict sent to a distant planet to harvest resources. The catch is... the local star ruptures frequently and incinerates the whole planet surface!

I would like to announce that I just came up with a decent comeback for a comment someone made 24 years ago. I gotta make some calls, BRB.

I got into a motorcycle accident later in my career and it messed up my legs. I spent the last 4 years of my career on a no-run, no-walk medical profile. Barely qualified for retirement instead of medical separation. I gained ~60 lbs just from the inaction. I'm 100% disabled now according to the VA.

This picture was taken in Djibouti, Africa in 2005. General Pace was making his rounds to all the deployed bases and stopped by to brief us. He's actually awarding me a military coin in this photo, which you transfer with a handshake.

Yup, I've definitely packed on a few pounds since those days, and not in the good way. 😅

It's been 5-1/2 months since I shaved my head and it's finally long enough that I'm ready for a trim. This is with no product in my hair; it's kinda holding on it's own. The beard is about 4 months of growth (had to shave once) and also needs to be cleaned up. I have a hair appointment next week!

Looks like I can't edit my post, so here's an update: I can't find any definitive sources claiming Tyler is a registered Republican. That's just what people have been claiming online based on his pro-Trump Facebook posts. His family is registered Republican; he is not registered with any party.

It's NEVER a Democrat. Every violent attack on our political figures have all been conservatives. And conservatives always immediately declare war on liberals every time this happens. They always take the emotional response instead of waiting for the facts. Do better.

My wife and I went to pick up an eBay item from a local seller. They asked to meet in front of their local police station, which had these signs in the parking lot.

I think this is awesome! Making a safe area for people to exchange online goods. We need more of this.

Everything is getting so expensive lately. Why the fuck everything cost money?

My first ever smartphone was an iPhone 3GS in 2009 and I balked at the $400 price tag. Fortunately, I got it for $1 by signing up for a 2-yr contract.

Now, Google's offering me $450 off a $1,549 phone if I pre-order. And my current phone's battery is suddenly getting worse after an update. Hmm... 🤔

I also just realized why half of my hair update photos make me look pale as heck. My phone's been trying to auto-correct the lighting and bleaching me out. I used a color filter to match my natural skin tone, rather than the creepy pale version that keeps coming out. Stupid AI auto-filter... 😡

Hair update #4: It's a week shy of 2 months since my last post.

My hair is finally growing longer. But not long enough to tame yet. I'm using hair gel and it's still spiky. Another month or two and I might need a stylist to finally trim it.

I also kept the beard. It's getting long and unruly too.

Something I've learned about retirement... When you're working, you look forward to the weekends. But when you're retired, you can't wait for the weekdays.

Everything's always busy and packed on weekends. But weekdays, everyone's at work and you can have a quiet, relaxing day to yourself. ❤️

New review! This one's on "Vampire Hunters."

This is practically the same as my "Vampire Survivors" review, except that it's a FPS game instead of a top-down game. You need to survive infinite waves of monsters for 30 minutes to beat each level, and you can use up to 12 weapons at the same time!

USAA asked me to fill out a survey about some upcoming ads for a chance to win $5. I tore apart their new ad campaign, calling them emotionally manipulative and not giving any concrete information about their services or products.

I'll be genuinely surprised if they give me $5 for my responses. 😅
