Hey @krassenstein.bsky.social: Do you know who shot this video?
If you live in Minneapolis: listen
If you live in Midwest: listen

My colleague's research on the history of his house in Southwest Minneapolis led to a dive into the history of racism in the Black housing experience in Minneapolis.

The audio levels were pretty rough and they really missed some great opportunities for visual storytelling on their website. But it was definitely a good listen and I loved all the kitty puns. 🐱/🐱
Those underwater shots were just 👌. I’ve put GoPros on people’s heads to try to get POV shots, but it messes up any shots you want to get of that person bc of the silly camera on their head! Having the chest mount, I barely noticed it was there.
I just watch docs and post about them! Started on Twitter forever ago, but don't use that platform much anymore so am posting here!
RECOMEND.
"I can't think of anything else that's life threatening that you can conquer at age 2."
But then Elisa was like, "You don't want someone to stop before they're successful because then it could be traumatizing 'cuz you're just saying, 'yeah that was a lot and we stopped.'"
Keep pushing through the challenges!
At first I was like, damn. This has got to be traumatizing for those lil babies! I have a dog (springer even!) that doesn't love to swim because I forced him into the water when he was a puppy.
Moving talking about the docs that I'm watching to here. Today's #dailydocumentary is A Swim Lesson: www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6oo...
