Mine is that I didn’t steal NUS Wales’ library of them when I left.

I am one of those 9000 customers, but not by choice. I liked my old door to door, nothing like getting dropped off outside CAP.

I’ve avoided the online debate as it’s appeared quite cruel as emotions run high; so I hope through this film I make a thoughtful contribution (despite my nature to be flippant and dry humoured)

Thankfully there aren’t many of us who have to face their own mortality as a result of illness (in my case sarcoma) what’s on the table offers a real option for a good death. I have palliative care, but taking control of a horrible illness is more than pain management.

I’m on Wales This Week tonight at 8:30 talking about assisted dying. It’s an emotive subject. As someone who will soon fall within the remit of the bill, a terminal illness with 6 months to live, it felt important to support it.

I think it was naive at best to put the photos out of her ‘DJing’ the experience was good for those that know her and understand conference. It was never going to go down well with people who aren’t like us. And I am sure looked quite the opposite of authentic. Staged opp to look human for many.

This simply isn’t good enough. In Wales, Claire’s Campaign (@claireoshea.bsky.social ) is working to highlight the issue and change the way women are diagnosed and supported through gynaecological cancers but more is needed to ensure women are seen and heard in a timely fashion
