My review on TripAdvisor of the Hilton Anaheim was removed because the hotel underwent some major renovations.

My review, I recall, was that it looked like a terrible 1970 porn movie was shot there, and nothing has changed since then.
Like 99% of all US hotels. Tacky carpets everywhere.

Ik had het hier over met iemand van een radicaal linkse partij. Hoe weinig links er tegenwoordig is. In mijn jeugd was links groot en aanwezig. Nu is alles naar midden en rechts opgeschoven. Ook mede door meer welvaart en beter arbeidsomstandigheden.

I stayed on X for a long time after its demise but only hoping to see it collapse. At some point the hate and nonsense made it an unusable platform.

There was no conversation anymore without it being hijacked by someone “angry”.

What is X? 😉.

Why do people still support that nasty person and his platform? There are enough alternatives and Twitter is no longer the go to platform it was in 2012.

Travelling back from Frankfurt we have a detour to reach Arnhem. Sadly the train does not stop at any station on that detour. Just passed my house at 5km but need to travel 1hour to Arnhem and 1hour back.

This is a very dangerous scenario and the recruitment was one I thought about also. People have bills to pay.

The cleanup from all of this will take decades.

Not on the Netherlands. I had to do some interesting travelling to cope wit that as well. This was from Arnhem to Frankfurt.

Travelling to an event. I decided to take the more sustainable transport, train. The travel time would be more or less the same, so why not.

Well, it is hell. After about the fifth red sign, trains in front of us not moving, issues with the rails, we are now 50mins late and half way. Never again

We are waiting for Wilders to step down. Massive loss. any leader would step down after a loss like this.

Our elections turned out to a better result than expected. The right wing party lost 12 seats to other right wing parties and more moderate parties.

They are still the biggest party but after two walk aways from a coalition, who will work with them. They are only shouting and hatred, no solution.

I think I saw some updates about scripts on FB... not really my focus, but worth checking out

Didn’t he retire?

I started reading ebooks when I fell sick on a holiday with no possibility to go to a shop.. as I read non-fiction marking was nice.

But I agree with the distractions.. I tried real readers over a decade ago.. I didn’t like them then but that was ages ago.

I have to say that I like reading on a tablet just because I can mark things easier… and I’m an old fart who really likes to hold a book.

TV station will be the fossils of the future. They need to adapt soon to the streaming world or face extinction.
