in the absence of this deal Iran’s enrichment program went into overdrive. Israel claiming strikes were taken on Iran’s nuclear facilities as a result of their enrichment now hitting 60%. Two things IMO: 1 had Trump not pulled out Iran’s capabilities would be nowhere near what they’re today… 🧵⬇️

Thoughts on Iran:
2015 we had an agreement under the Obama administration which allowed for regular international inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities and limited their uranium enrichment to 3.6%.
2018 the Trump admin tore up said agreement (b/c Obama hatred) and unsurprisingly… 🧵⬇️
