Yeah Jared Golden, we are not impressed that you're not taking all of this more seriously... 🙄 What will it take for the man who calls his constituents "pearl clutchers" to wake up??

I agree. I talk to a lot of people, I am fairly involved in organizing & mutual aid, and I spend a LOT of time on trying to convince people it’s bad enough to do something. We should be careful to assume folks are doing something.

Monday’s storm gave us about 5-6 inches. I went out to my car around 7 (didn’t go anywhere), and snapped this shot on the way. Beautiful snow for my birthday!

How much did you get? We got about five inches here.

Meanwhile, I see Americans saying, “what can I do?” and throwing up their hands. My foreign acquaintances are all asking, “what are Americans doing about this?!”

It now seems we have yet another raging pandemic that was cured by use of vaccination. Here in America, thanks to Robert Kennedy Junior being confirmed as the secretary of HHS I am sure many Americans are going to listen to him and not have their children vaccinated. Ignorance will cause death.

I can’t bring them all day. My four year old has a patience limit before meltdowns. And while I’m pressing for collective support for childcare, it’s not happening.

Yeah. I’m pressing for collective childcare solutions. It’s a struggle to get that to happen.

You’re not alone, friend. Lots of us are out here working with you.

And our neighbors have every right to be angry. It’s a both thing. We keep working to keep us all safe.

Absolutely brilliant turnout at today’s Empty Chair Town Hall for Jared Golden in Bangor, Maine.

All of the speakers were amazing and spoke to everything I had planned to say so there was no need to read my letter.

Americans are coming together in numbers to demand that our reps fight the regime!

Nearly 400 people from District 2 showed up to a town hall held in Bangor today. Jared Golden could not be bothered to show up. 🙄 It made for extra passionate speeches and helped us build our solidarity. Lucky for us, there are already people lining up to replace him 👋 #holdtheline #togetherwecan

Americans are in denial about the implications here because they wish it wasn't happening. But this is the behavior of a dictator. It's the sort of thing that warrants secession or revolution. The Republic is over the second federal funding is withheld pending a governor's personal apology.

Will not be surprised if Golden responds the same way after this weekend. He refused to do the Bangor town hall based on similar basis of “prefers small groups of constituents.”

The important thing to understand about the ADA is it doesn't enumerate accommodations within the law. It just refers people to the guidance created by the Access Board. So removing the guidance is a workaround that hollows out the law without repeal.

It will help. 💕

Add extra pasta to your groceries and donate to the food pantry.

Buy a big box of granola bars to keep on your front seat to hand to hungry homeless folks at intersections.

Round up at every register ask that’s a good organization.

Use Resistbot or 5calls to contact those fools in government.

I’m not here all day, every day, cause I’m a busy lady with a small child, a farm, and a my hand in a lot of organizing pots. And I talk to a lot of overwhelmed folks.

Pick something to do. Even if it’s small. It will help you AND the world with the overwhelming awful. I promise.

I know it’s Sunday, and the Sunday Scaries are basically the Every Day Scaries now.

I want to let you know doing one thing, even one, to fight the all consuming awful of the world is not necessarily to help the world. It helps you too.
