Lol my mom did this when I was a kid, one of the times my dad went away for his marine corps reserve duty. I have such a clear memory of him standing in the door still in uniform saying, “What…is that?”

The post office in the tiny town where I work just got a new postmaster and it’s DISASTROUS. They’ve started unilaterally returning to sender if mail/a package lists the street address! Of course that isnt ever indicated in tracking, it’ll just say it’s at the post office and then they’re like 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m no expert, having never had an affair myself, but it just seems like if you’re in a situation where you’re publicly canoodling your affair partner, and a kiss cam starts happening, you should preemptively stop canoodling until the kiss cam is over. Idk I’m just spitballing here.

I can’t understand why people make stuff up to tell/show their kids about the world. The world is SO INTERESTING all on its own! You may have to put forth a little effort to learn some stuff to share with them…but making stuff up takes effort too!!

I’m having such a hard time with this but I know you’re absolutely right! There is an opportunity for clear and specific messaging like this now and going forward…but I fear that opportunity is going to be totally missed by the Dem party at large.
