I'm happy to announce that Another New Calligraphy will be publishing my memoir of hybrid experimental essays, Frames, sometime next year.
I had a great year for publications. I started the year flying high on the success of How to Talk about the Dead and am ending with some pretty big news that I can't announce quite yet. Whatever the case, I've continued doing what I've been doing for years now: cobbling together a life of words.
I’m more concerned than ever that he will come for those of us who oppose him.
My words to Trump and his cult: I sing of Olaf, glad and big.
Many thanks to Susurrus for publishing this poem. I struggled with this draft. As I worked through it, I realized that the poem was less about the act of trading one art for another and more about memory.
