Reform council dysfunctional As a Kent resident, I welcome that the national media is starting to pick up on the chaotic nature of our Reform-led administration at Kent County Council. I hope that this is the beginning of Nigel Farage's latest political project being subject to proper scrutiny. In Kent, seven Reform councillors of the 57 elected in May have resigned the whip or been suspended and they have taken a series of economically illiterate decisions. We think that we can get the civil service to that size at a substantial saving.” He added: “We really need to do this, because the country is living beyond its things. There needs to be a party, and it is the Conservative party, that will take fiscal responsibility very seriously.”

I didn't hear Stride's Today programme interview on BBC Radio 4 this morning, did the interviewer not point out to him that his party was in power from 2016 through to last year while the Civil Service was growing 35%? Let me guess, that's a 'no'. Typical.
