I’ve had this discussion with a few people. We do need a reckoning-either find ways to live together or agree to a national ”amicable divorce.” Seeing the end of the USA was not in my life plan. I have mixed feelings, but admit I’d move to a ”safe state” were it to happen.

Agreed. Our son, DIL, and grands share our values. We all ”resist”, & that teaches strength, resilience, organizational skills, etc., but they’re still exposed to the hatred and corruption. Protesting in any form helps 1 cope. Being involved is healthier than curling up in a ball or being in denial!

My heart aches for my grandchildren and their generation who have grown up in this era. They are either living in fear or are indoctrinated. Recovery will take generations. This trauma is now part of the US psyche.
