Tatsuya Nakadai was a true legend and one of the last of his kind.

Obviously a standout among Kurosawa and Kobayashi's casts, but he also really tore up the screen as the lead, the villain, and occasionally both — like in Kihachi Okamoto's SWORD OF DOOM (1966).

Like most of the movies from the Nixonland series, The Wicker Man was a rich text and I'm glad I was able to join the gang to talk about it! I've come to appreciate it more with time and came away from this conversation liking it more than I already did.
