Great news: I received ERC Advanced grant #ERCAdG @erc.europa.eu CaptuRel! It aims at intelligent nanomaterials undergoing bioinspired cycle of capture and photorelease of bioactive molecules for sensing and controlling (bio)chemical gradients. Thanks to my Team, @cnrs.fr and @unistra.fr!

It can be used for long-term cell tracking, co-culture of multiple cell populations, cell barcoading, magnetic cell manipulation, etc.

It means that the labelling is covalent, and unlike classical probes, MemGraft does not detach in biological media with serum, during permeabilizaion or in the presence of other cells.
