βwe will killβ is that very Christian?
02.11.2025 13:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think youβre right. But Iβve always also believed there are others that get rich that arenβt that way. Like maybe they are full of talent and energy and luck and wealth just happens to them; theyβre not cunning and predatory. I donβt know how the pie chart would break it down.
01.11.2025 16:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0When I was in school years ago and renting, the only times I didnβt get my security deposit back (2 out of 6 landlords) was with the 2 wealthy ones - they each drove Mercedes, had been corporate officers and had enormous homes. Itβs just the way some rich people are.
01.11.2025 14:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The Judiciary has reversed itself before, β¦ could our recent experience with ballrooms, crypto, etc. be brought to them as n some way to revisit Citizens?β¦. i.e. constitution is not a suicide pact.
29.10.2025 20:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But please do have more children as our population is declining and we need consumers and soldiers
28.10.2025 01:37 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Small things too - the price of Halloween candy at the grocery store comes to mind.
26.10.2025 20:56 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Maybe that Kant thought the social contract arose from reasoning is a source of difficulty. He probably wasnβt thinking motivated reasoning.
26.10.2025 16:24 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0@jamellebouie.net nailed it when he recently wrote in the NYT of Trump : βfar from being the avatar of some imagined authentic American, Trump is just a politicianβ
26.10.2025 14:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Notwithstanding the constitution and laws, I have confidence that the Robertβs court can delay their ruling for months and then, eventually, say it is for congress to act. That said, I truly donβt get how justices that lamented a lack of civics understanding act this way.
26.10.2025 13:16 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0If we had a more functional judiciary, this one-person setting taxes for all on a whim would have been solved months ago. So confusing! does a post constitutional U.S. even have a judiciary?
25.10.2025 21:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not sure what heβd be, but it wouldnβt be president of the United States, just literally speaking.
23.10.2025 23:01 β π 5 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0So that your papers will be in order.
21.10.2025 20:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In some future will an angry mob back up pumper trucks, fill it up with sewage, and then use back hoes to crunch it all up and put it in dumpsters? Or will it be preserved as a museum to corruption? Impossible to know its fate other than it canβt last forever.
21.10.2025 15:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why canβt the U.S. just fly a small drone to the boat, get a close up view, talk over a loud speaker and get them to stop for inspection? Do we not have any small drone capability?
17.10.2025 10:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It was more urgent for scotus to deep dive conversion therapy than to speedily take up whether a president can proclaim tariffs absent congressional approval. Conversion therapy was obviously a more βmajor questionβ for them. Theyβve been looking small, political, petty.
09.10.2025 15:30 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Now an ex-R, I felt this βitβs just about powerβ in 2004 when after years and years of βfiscal responsibility β and βnational debt on future generations β I saw Rs cut taxes and raise spending. It was just talking point B.S. to get ahead in elections. So after 28 years as an R I left.
05.10.2025 10:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I guess the new, high physical fitness standards will help troops outrun drones. Good plan and focus?
30.09.2025 13:49 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0re PITA, I read somewhere that native people used to pound the nuts and boil them in pots of water and skim off the yummy floating stuff on top.
25.09.2025 22:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs more than just lawerly vs. engineering, itβs also for awhile been βmarketing β vs. βmaking.β As more and more U.S. citizens made their livelihoods selling, these citizens also joined corporate boards, town councils, school boards. And eventually selling completely took over our politics.
20.09.2025 20:15 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 1βmight not have been legalβ. This terminology is so widely used, even when something is illegal. Maybe substitute βviolated U.S. laws of war, laws of the high sea,β¦β. Treaties ratified are U.S. law.
20.09.2025 15:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve always wondered if in Rucho vs Common Cause, SCOTUS members had had programming experience, had used Monte Carlo methods, if they would have seen how simple the solutions were. For them it was inscrutable. They could sincerely try to be humble, lifelong learners and revisit. Pls.
06.08.2025 13:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As free exercise is ascendant in U.S. jurisprudence, a person could reasonably refuse to bake a cake for anti-lgtbq and anti-immigrant citizens as Jesus stated there were 2 most important commandments, one of which was βlove thy neighborβ ?
10.07.2025 13:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Totally agree! Golfing while destroying the world holidays are too numerous.
20.06.2025 01:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And the pets being eaten
17.06.2025 02:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Maybe time to put identify friend or foe tags on law enforcement.
16.06.2025 17:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So would this from B. Franklin
pdcrodas.webs.ull.es/fundamentos/...
remember all that time ago when he called the cave rescue diver hero a βpedo guy?β. wtf
30.03.2025 17:20 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Good discussion. One kind of singularity though is when individuals donβt believe that courts and law firms are effective and independent. In that world, a citizens interaction with law enforcement becomes entirely differentβ¦potentially every where all at once. Chilling
23.03.2025 12:13 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0βdouble secret probation β. Anyway, my favorite example still is when FBI had to overfly DOE sites to establish that DOE was illegally handling waste, and telling its contractors the activities were classified. Old trick still works.
17.03.2025 21:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0he likes orange?
