Got in some chilly #doorbelling this afternoon in our first drizzly fall weather day of the season! Despite the cold, I'm glad to get out and meet folks and really appreciate everyone taking a moment to chat with us. 💙💛

Afterward, I got to warm up a bit by popping into the #ResourceFair at the Wren Pierson Center to check out the local vendors, games, balloons, & Halloween costume swap.

Made it to the tail end of the #CheneyFarmersMarket today after cheering on a kiddo soccer game! Even with the first real fall weather, it was wonderful to see lots of folks out enjoying the last market of the season & their annual #FallFestival.

I’m honored to have the #endorsement of the #SpokaneMagnusonClub in my campaign for Cheney City Council! 💙

So fun to be back in the Computing & Engineering Building (where I earned both my CS degrees!) and see the Mechanical Engineering side — woodworking, metalworking, rockets, parachutes, and ROBOTS!

Got to join the Association of Washington Business on their #ManufacturingWeek bus tour at their stop at Eastern Washington University’s Mechanical Engineering Dept earlier this week.

They also offers scholarships for Parks & Rec programs, school supplies, & children’s gifts, & serves as a hub for information, referral, & direct help for low-income residents. Funded through grants, City support, community donations, local churches, & partner orgs, they make every dollar count.

Their team is on the frontlines of preventing homelessness -- helping families stay in their homes, connecting folks with critical resources, & offering support during tough times. Providing emergency assistance for rent, utilities, prescriptions, bus passes, gas vouchers, & more.

I had the chance to visit the #CheneyOutreachCenter this week and see firsthand the incredible work they do to support our fellow #community members. 💙
