I wonder how much time I’ve wasted on hold waiting for a human so I can sort out digital access whilst listening to an automated voice telling me how much faster I could be served by accessing digital services.

I continue to work for the NHS, and will till I retire. It’s far from perfect, but dayam…!

Same! 🇬🇧 Since moving here I’ve needed cardiac valve surgery, and been diagnosed with early-onset osteoarthritis (already have two new knees and thumbs). I couldn’t afford to go back even if I wanted to! (Last job there was at CDC in immunisations & vaccinations. That job’s well gone now, too! 🤪)
