Question for people who speak Japanese: Have you encountered the idea among native Japanese-speakers that the word "kong" (コング or kongu) means "gorilla"?
If you have, is it something that people use knowing it's a King Kong reference? Or is the belief that "kong" is used this way in English?

Like, I should have just ignored it but I legit felt like he was trying for a fight as opposed to attempting to change my opinion. And I just wanted to point out that he was being rude and annoying.
He blocked me so he won’t see this, but it is wild to have someone respond to you with “actually your opinion is wrong” and then have that person get all hurt when you’re like “What was your gameplan here? What response were you hoping to elicit?”

Obviously, I think they look better. That's why I wrote this. Anytime someone says "this is better than that," it's obviously an opinion. What I'm reacting to is you essentially saying "No, your opinion is wrong." Like, what reaction were you hoping to get there?
