Also, should note that Bristol’s big idea of “community benefits” is they have nonprofits “volunteer” (i.e. free labor) to work the concessions stands in exchange for a share of proceeds from sales, so that cynical view of CSR probably plays in here.

Have always thought it was such a missed opportunity to not replace all those mismatched 1970s townhouses in West End Park with all mixed use with ground level retail. Would have been a really cool neighborhood near a great park. Instead they just did almost all mismatched 2010s townhouses.
