All of this to say: it is extremely validating to me that the actual™ real™ Super Mario Galaxy 3 (which "Super Mario Galaxy 1+2" is obviously equal to) has released in October after all.

It didn't matter that I never saw any screenshots or mentions of it anywhere else. It didn't matter that "the Wii U will release in November" (as the comment's sole reply pointed out). I knew in my heart that Super Mario Galaxy 3 would be here in October.

Obviously, 10-year-old me was stoked, I was marking my metaphorical calendars, telling my parents, and also reminding my parents every so often. I asked if I could get the game "as a Halloween present."

When I was little, there was this one Mario fan site I always went on to play Mario flash games. I distinctly remember seeing a comment on one of the message boards in 2013 saying: "Guys, Super Mario Galaxy 3 is gonna be this October!"

Yesterday, the "p" key on my keyboard briefly stopped working. I'm willing to bet that guy from Paper Mario had something to do with this.

I know this exclusively for being next to the browser icon on my taskbar, because I swear sometimes the buttons will literally move out of the way so that I click this on accident.

2024 had to have been one of the coolest years of my life. So many amazing things happened to me that I'm so grateful for.

She does her best to look after her friends and the plant she planted, and will go great lengths to protect them, almost to a fault. She will likely put the plant on a higher priority than the challenges themselves.” Sample lines: - “Hang on for a second. I need to water my plant real fa-where did it go?” - “Oh…no. I mean, I’m not exactly sure what it is. But it’s mine anyway. Get your own.” - “Well a seed can’t just grow on its own. It needs sunlight, and water! and soil…” - “Wha- huh?!
