It's pretty obvious that Premier League fans and players are pretty sick of football.
Reminded me too much of someone in a Far Side cartoon though.
Spurs fan was so devastated at going 0-3 down, he called his mum midstream to rant at her for making him a supporter. Threatens to get her nothing for Mothers Day and cries a bit. Absolute gold.
No matter who you support, Expressions is always worth a watch. Genius.

Our 1-0 away result suddenly doesn't feel all that bad.
I turned the Real v City game over at 0-0 cos I heard that Chelsea were getting a kicking at PSG and thought I'd like to see that. Turned over to see Chelsea equalise and so missed Real putting 3 quick ones past City.
I'm a terrible viewer.
Still a bit shocking to see Trent turning out for that lot.
VAR looked at our goal last night for 5 minutes to try to figure out where a ball hit and who it hit before going in. Then looked at that blatant dive and went, yeah, probs a pen, whatever.
1 minute into the 2nd half. Goal to Leverkusen. From a corner. Unmarked header. I feel like I've seen that move somewhere before.
what fun? Just saying what'll happen.
5 years from now, AI will've replaced VAR and within seconds will be able to analyse every camera angle, in real time, of every incident on the field and calculate if a player's been fouled, held, pushed, or dived. The "decision" is instantly relayed to the ref in the same way goal-line tech works.
The extent to which Spurs fans and players seem to have just given up and resigned themselves to going down is astonishing.
It’s been a turgid, mournful, poor season for us but I’d still rather be having to go through this transition, trying to find ways to win by playing football, than be top of the league doing what Other Teams are doing.
I can’t wait to see how next season goes, whoever is coaching these lads.
Seeing shouts to bring Stevie G in for the rest of the season.
I posted this as they won the corner that led to their goal. It was Konate’s first involvement after a fast opening few minutes by us and he was miles off it.
Sadly, it got a lot worse. Need him back to his recent good form straight away.
I don't know what he said but clearly it was down to poor finishing tonight. Should have won that by 2 or 3.
Absolutely has. Twice.
Spare a thought for B.Dortmund who lost to Spurs and Atalanta in the league phase.
They should give that reserve keeper another chance too.
Romero going off with a head injury. Doesn't concussion automatically rule him out of the next game?
If anything, I'm even more annoyed that, what could & should have been a jolly evening, has turned into a week of wondering if we'll turn up for the 2nd leg or not.
Richarlison taken off, being rested for Anfield.
What a goal on the counter by Atletico!
Stunning stuff.
Their keeper saves from Richarlison and 10 seconds later they've scored at the other end. Brilliant play. Griezmann's wonderful touch and Alvarez with pace & precision. Wouldn't have minded him at Liverpool tbh.
Thank goodness we beat Spurs in that 2019 final. That win helped us go on to win everything else. Spurs would've just pissed it all away.
They're unlucky that the one truly abysmal season they've had looks like it'll end up taking them down. It's quite hard to get relegated & they're managing it.
He seems to have gone a bit "Trenty" in recent games. Not ideal.
How's that not a red card by Van De Van?
TBF, Tudor did say that the priority for Spurs was the league, not Europe. But he must be sitting there thinking "fuck me, I didn't mean do THIS though!"
This is going to end 5-4 to Madrid.
A 1-0 win to Spurs next week who then go through on pens.
The comeback is on!
4-1, Spurs are back in it.
Amazing save by Vicario to keep out a 4th ATM goal but the follow up goes in anyway. 4-0, 23 minutes gone.
A long way back for this young Spurs side. Can they do it back at their place?
