I've seen memes that frame what is going on as "the Billionaires vs. the Middle Class." Let us not forget the workers who staff the nursing facilities, roof our houses, pour the concrete, pick the produce and milk the dairy herds. They stand to bear more of the brunt of the proposed cuts.

For years I have invested in socially responsible funds. It would seem that many firms place a higher premioum on the bottom line that ethical practice. I am committed to shopping only to firms that value the common good and the environment.
