What I try to explain to people is that writing a book is hard and sometimes miserable and editing a book is hard and sometimes miserable but then once in a while everything crystallizes and you can see how to make it really good and it’s the best feeling in the world. That’s where I am right now.

Me currently 😭 I have a very vague outline and otherwise only know the beginning&end. Thinking of switching to a different project I have a better understanding of.

See if the city nearest you offers cards!! I’m in MA and the Boston Public Library literally allows you to apply online. Still waits for new releases but otherwise the holds aren’t bad since I have options! (You can also request ur library get more copies for things w/ a long wait)

one thing I respect about medieval beekeepers is their total commitment to looking like Doctor Who villains

I am juggling more wips than a clown could keep airborne, have all the patience of an incensed alleycat, all the chill of a foraging squirrel in late autumn, and am more possessive of my books than a stressed out dog is over the last available chew toy.
